End-User License Agreement
This End-User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you (“Licensee”) and the Licensor for the software obtained through Microsoft AppSource (the “Software”). By installing or using the Software, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.
1. Licence grant
Subject to this Agreement and to payment of any applicable fees, the Licensor grants the Licensee a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide licence to install and use the Software within Microsoft Power BI for the Licensee's own internal business purposes.
2. Restrictions
- reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software, except as permitted by law;
- rent, lease, lend, sell, sublicense, or redistribute the Software as a standalone product;
- remove or alter any proprietary notices;
- use the Software to develop a competing product.
3. Ownership
The Software is licensed, not sold. The Licensor retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Software, including all intellectual property rights.
4. Data and privacy
The Software does not collect, transmit, or store any of the Licensee's data outside the Licensee's own Power BI environment. See the Privacy Policy.
5. Updates
The Licensor may provide updates through AppSource. This Agreement governs any such updates unless they are accompanied by a separate licence.
6. Disclaimer of warranty
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. THE LICENSEE BEARS THE ENTIRE RISK AS TO QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE.
7. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE LICENSOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR BUSINESS. THE LICENSOR'S TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID FOR THE SOFTWARE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
8. Term and termination
This Agreement is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically if the Licensee breaches any term. Upon termination, the Licensee must stop using and remove the Software.
9. Governing law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Hungary, without regard to its conflict of law provisions, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.
