Before contacting support
Most questions are answered in the user guide for your visual — see Field bindings (which column to bind and whether it is Required / Recommended / Optional), the recommended data model, and the Troubleshooting section.
When you report an issue
- The visual name and version.
- Your Power BI environment (Desktop version, or Power BI Service).
- Expected vs. actual behaviour.
- If possible, a screenshot and the field bindings you used.
- Whether the issue reproduces in a small sample model.
Scope of support
Support covers installing, binding and configuring the Visuals, guidance on the recommended data model, and bug reports. It does not cover building your data model, writing DAX, or general Power BI administration — although the user guide provides recommended table layouts to start from.
